Every year a team of library staff, teachers and educational practitioners get together and spend a fantastically indulgent 3 days delving into 100’s of the best children's books published during the previous year.
Everyone enjoys taking time out from the day job selecting the books with the criteria in mind of selecting books we all think will inspire and engage the children of Sheffield.
And every year… it snows! Our selection panel was smaller than in previous years and all had one eye on the window checking the weather but….we think we have found some real gems this year.
