Well Done Annabel Pitcher- winner of the Waterstones Children's Book Prize



Annabel Pitcher's Ketchup Clouds has won the Waterstones Children's Book Prize 2013. Her debut novel, My Sister Lives on the Mantelpiece, was shortlisted for the prize last year.

The Waterstones Children's Book Prize was created nine years ago to reward and champion new and emerging talent in children's writing. It is voted for by booksellers across the country.

The Prize consists of three categories: Best Picture Book; Best Fiction for 5-12s; and Best Book for Teens.

As well as the teenage category, Ketchup Clouds won overall winner of the Waterstones Children's Book Prize 2013.     Ketchup Clouds is also on the Sheffield Children's Book Award shortlist 2013. Borrow this book (along with the 5 others) from the Young Adult category and place your vote, will this also be a Sheffield Winner?

Your school must subscribe to the Sheffield Schools Library Service to be eligible to take part. Please check if your school have already submitted an application form before you return. Please e-mail or post your form to the address given.
